To the Flower Garden

Do not go to the flower garden alone.
To share your excitement,
as you shriek with joy seeing the flowers'
beauty, their fragrance,
their colours—
take a person along with you.
After savouring the nectar,
hearing the words of the butterflies
and the honeybees that spoke of its taste,
to unfold that wonder and tell it—
take a listener along with you.
The sky, the earth, the wind—they will be there anyway! If possible...
when a soft drizzle is falling,
when some fire is blazing within you,
let a kindred soul be by your side.
Even if you go alone and return,
to avoid leaving your feeling, your experience
to dry on some rock somewhere,
to share it in ecstasy—
bind a heart to yourself.
